This is a challenging time around the world and now here at home. Knowing that you might have concerns, and that taxes might not be the first thing on your mind, I can assure you that they are for us here at First Ottawa Tax.
In times like these, your health and safety as well as those of our employees are a top priority. As we continue to learn more about the risks of COVID-19 (also known as the Coronavirus), we remain committed to ensuring your experience, from submitting your tax documents, to signing off on your return, is as safe and easy as possible.
Public health agencies and the government are working to implement additional prevention measures as the situation evolves. With growing concerns, we at First Ottawa Tax encourage our clients to use phone, email and our Client Portal to share information.
What this means for our clients:
· Phone calls will continue to be answered and/or returned from 8:30am until 4:30pm, Monday–Friday.
· In person meetings will be post-poned and phone meetings will be accommodated.
· All documents can still be submitted electronically either by email to firstottawatax@gmail.com or through our Client Portal. If you are directly impacted by COVID-19 and as a result are facing financial challenges please let us know—we are prepared to help you find a solution to meet your needs.
Although your experience during this time may be a little different than what you’ve come to expect; we appreciate your understanding and we are doing all that we can to maintain 'business as usual'.
